Process of Prayer

When we understand the power of our words, we know that once we speak or make a petition before God, things are moving in the unseen to make that request a reality. The most important elements of our petition is our faith and our heart posture. It our hearts are not postured correctly, our life reflects it. So what God does, at our request is first, prepare our hearts to receive what we've asked for. This may trigger hardships for us. If we ask for a new house, we may then expect a better paying position or new job, to meet a top-selling real-estate agent, etc. In reality, oftentimes, God sees that you want the house to keep up with the Jones', that you have not made your current home a sanctuary for His spirit, etc. So while we're expecting something tangible, God begins to work on our hearts. Don't be discourage if you don't see what you pray for right away. Don't give up or think your requests have fallen on deaf ears. If you ask for something and random, crazy things start happening, find it not strange. Ask God to reveal what He's trying to purge out of you, what He's trying to correct in you, how He's trying to prepare you to receive what He's doing in your life.

Discomfort is an indicator that God is moving!
